It is my great pleasure to welcome all of you to the official website of department of accounting and finance, Ethio Victory College. Even though the college launched degree program in 2002 E.C. (2010 G.C.), the Accounting and Finance department was established in November 24, 2014 E.C. (December 3, 2021 G.C.).

AS A one of the largest department at the college of business and economics, department of accounting and finance provides unique teaching, research and learning experience to undergraduate to mold them to be business leaders and quality citizens of the country.

The department aims to prepare students for multiple career opportunities in the field or provide demand for trained human resource and direct them to further academic studies and professional certification through diverse and continues curriculum improvement. The basic rational of the program is attributed to the observed continuously flourishing of different organization in Ethiopia, along with the rapid pace of development of Ethiopian economy. Accounting& finance as profession had emerged response to the social, economic and business environment needs. The accounting and finance profession has shown continues and tremendous growth in business world. Accounting and finance in modern context of business is a financial information and communication system that provides various group of decision makers with valuable and reliable information that makes the a difference between in their day to - day business decisions. Therefore, we cordially invite students to join the department in particular and the college in general.
